About the Role

The Financial Advisor Expert reports to the Executive Director-Capital and Financial Planning supporting system-wide planning. They develop executive-level reports on costs, revenues, and operational metrics to inform senior management and support strategic decision-making. The role involves analyzing diverse data—including financial, operational, clinical, and economic—to advise business unit and financial leadership on performance and decision impacts, considering downstream outcomes. They serve as a trusted financial resource, providing analysis, expense management, operational improvements, and growth evaluations to operational leaders. The position emphasizes building relationships, risk-aware planning, and collaborating with leadership to drive organizational development, long-term financial planning, and budgeting processes. Additionally, they analyze complex financial data to enhance operations, promote teamwork through influence, enhance annual planning processes, and support financial leadership throughout the system—all without direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines and/or a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or other industry standard guidelines.
• Requires experience successfully interacting with all levels of leadership.
• Requires experience implementing large scale process improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results.
• Experience with Oracle budgeting and reporting, including smartview and uploads highly preferred.
