Abound Health is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Evening Lead for the Hunter Group Home in Sharpsville, PA. Position Details

• Role: DSP – Evening Lead
• Hours: 32 hours/week
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Off Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Notes: Same site, same shift time, four consecutive days

What You’ll Do

As a DSP Evening Lead, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence, maintain safety, and thrive in their home environment. Responsibilities include:

• Build positive, supportive relationships with residents
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in evening routines, community participation, and social activities
• Provide behavioral support and use proactive strategies to maintain a calm environment
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being throughout the shift
• Communicate with team members, families, and external partners as needed
• Complete documentation, shift notes, and schedules
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Willingness to assist with personal care needs when necessary
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is helpful but not required — paid training provided
