Patient Access Assistant | Cold Spring Clinic

Join the CentraCare team as a Patient Access Assistant at CentraCare Cold Spring Clinic. 

As a Patient Access Assistant, you are often the first point of contact for our patients. In this highly visibility role, you will welcome patients and check them in for their appointment. A Patient Access Assistant will verify patient information, verify insurance information, process complex documents checking for accuracy and completeness, schedule appointments or transmit information to other departments, obtain and identify information necessary to produce billable patient accounts, and manage phones while exercising professional judgment and applying detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. 

Schedule: 

• Full Time | 72 hours every two weeks.
• 8-hour shifts between 7:30am and 5pm with one day off per pay period.
• No weekends! 

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay starting at $17.83 per hour and up based on experience.
  • Pay range $16.59 to $24.92 per hour based on years of relatable experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience -OR-
• 1 year of prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable, and/or collections experience.
