For over 40 years Northern Trust Asset Management has helped investors preserve capital, achieve yield, maintain liquidity and manage risk. In EMEA we offer a broad range of capabilities from AAA rated, Short-Term Money Market Funds to customised Cash Segmentation portfolio’s, uniquely tailored to investor cash flow requirements.</p><p></p><p>We are currently seeking a Senior Liquidity Sales Executive based in Amsterdam. Reporting to the Head of Liquidity Sales for EMEA. The individual will be tasked with originating new business for Northern Trust Asset Management’s Liquidity strategies with investors in the region.  This is an ideal opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual who is looking for a challenging role within an innovative and open-minded team looking to make a difference in the market.</p><p></p><p><b>The key responsibilities of the role are :</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Develop and execute a distribution strategy for Liquidity Solutions in support of the EMEA wide strategy set by the Head of Liquidity Sales for the region</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with Key Treasury decision makers in the region</li><li>To have a consistent pipeline of opportunities in order to make an active contribution to the new business targets for the region</li><li>Work closely with Relationship Management and Account Management teams to support the onboarding process and ensure the clients servicing expectations are exceeded at all times</li><li>Work closely with Portfolio Management to develop an extensive knowledge of the Investment strategy and market dynamics</li><li>Support regional, internal business development needs across Northern Trust’s business units – IIG, GFS, HFS and GFO</li><li>Develop and maintain data on prospective clients that are mapped to EMEA Liquidity Growth Strategy</li><li>Assist with the development of Marketing Collateral and Thought leadership</li><li>Attend industry events as part of the EMEA Liquidity team to network and build the Northern Trust Asset Management brand in the Liquidity space</li><li>Analyse client types, industry and market drive themes to identify client acquisition opportunities</li><li>Be a contributing member of a team that thrives on partnership, innovation, and execution; i.e. a team player</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Knowledge/Skills</b></u></p><p></p><ul><li>Ideally, a minimum of 7 years’ experience in distributing Liquidity and Short-Term Fixed Income strategies or equivalent</li><li>A strong network of Treasury decision makers across the Corporate and Institutional market in the region</li><li>The ability to build a book of business through active prospecting and networking with Treasury decision makers</li><li>Ability to communicate and sell Northern Trust Asset Management products and services</li><li>Fluent in English and preferably another European language</li><li>Experience with Salesforce</li><li>Relevant industry qualifications – IMC, CFA or Equivalent</li><li>Ability to travel consistently</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Valuable Competencies </b></p><p></p><ul><li>Strong organisational skills</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to work under time pressures both individually and as a team member.</li><li>Working in strong team player environment</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Working with Us:</u></b></p><p>As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
