The Opportunity: 

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with security implementation and development and impact our nation’s critical missions.   

In this role, you’ll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to develop solutions aligned to our client's highest priorities.   

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for our client. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:   

• 4+ years of experience with application security, cloud security, incident response, SOC, or IAM

• Experience with multiple operating systems, information security software and hardware components, network systems, databases, or information security safeguards   

• Experience with using open-source and commercial security tools

• Knowledge of cloud security implementation best practices

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

• Ability to communicate technical details to various levels of internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

• Security+ certification

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience with providing technical guidance and cybersecurity expertise to internal and external stakeholders 

• Experience working on major DoD programs

• Secret clearance   

• Master's degree   

• CISSP certification
