<p>Senior Technology Business Analysis </p> <p> </p> <p>The opportunity</p> <p>Business Analysts will apply analytical knowledge areas and in-depth analysis of the business to uncover its true problems, understand its objectives, define the relevant requirements, business rules and identify design elements to support the application functions. Business Analysts have strong problem-solving skills and interact regularly with various professionals to generate value for the business. Business Analysts have several key touch points through the product lifecycle and will ensure that the solution will enable the business to achieve its objectives.</p> <p>As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge &amp; experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation. </p> <p> </p> <p>Your key responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Leads and facilitates stakeholder meetings to define business requirements, translating them into functional and non-functional specifications for system design and development.</li> <li>Employs business analysis techniques to understand and communicate business processes, solution needs, and rules, ensuring alignment with operational benefits and technical considerations.</li> <li>Analyzes business models and processes to gain a thorough understanding of requirements, focusing on the technical implications of risks and dependencies.</li> <li>Works closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gain insights into business needs, aligning technology solutions with business expectations and facilitating integration into existing workflows.</li> <li>Manages risks and scope, conducts testing to confirm solutions meet specifications, and supports business case development and RFP responses, contributing to the growth of business analysis expertise within the community.</li> </ul> <p>Skills and attributes for success</p> <ul> <li>Skilled in business analysis, including scoping, capturing requirements, and prioritizing features to achieve desired business outcomes, with experience in developing technical specifications and familiarity with software development methodologies.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting business scenarios and solutions, and experienced in integrating solutions into business operations through functional walkthroughs and addressing FAQs.</li> <li>Broad understanding of IT services and business process modeling, with the ability to engage with diverse teams and apply creative and independent thinking to business challenges.</li> </ul> <p>To qualify for the role, you must have</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience with significant role interacting with business to define business operations, workflows and technology solutions</li> <li>3-5 years of experience in consulting services with consistent record to creatively assist client with their business challenges and objectives</li> </ul> <p>Ideally, you’ll also have</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in various industries with a comprehensive understanding of both current and emerging technologies.</li> <li>Proficient in Agile methodologies, actively participating in Agile practices and producing key deliverables using industry-standard business analysis knowledge.</li> <li>Proven track record in business analysis roles, contributing substantial business value through research, innovation, and effective communication of comprehensive business cases.</li> </ul> <p>What we look for</p> <p>We are interested in hiring a  self-starter, independent-thinker, curious and creative person with ambition and passion.
