FUNCTION

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all guests, Team Members and company assets.

 SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and customers.
  • Manages programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
  • Development of staff, evaluating and training by designing training programs.
  • Assist with interviewing and selection.
  • Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
  • Meet with Directors and Managers as necessary.
  • Completes and processes performance reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Two to five years’ experience as a security guard or law enforcement agent with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Valid Racing License
