Description
Lead compassionate nursing care and support the wellbeing of individuals in our Transitional Services program as our Nurse Manager.Schedule: Monday-Friday, Days. (40 hours weekly)
This position will be responsible for the Central and Southern residential programs and does require on-call responsibilities.
As part of our mission-driven, nonprofit healthcare team, the Nurse Manager provides clinical leadership and nursing oversight for individuals receiving transitional physical and psychiatric care. In this role, you’ll guide nursing practice, support staff, and ensure consumers have access to the care and resources they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for nursing care across Residential Services
- Complete nursing assessments, monitor health needs, and address medical and psychiatric concerns
- Coordinate medications and collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacies, consumers, and families
- Offer health education for staff and consumers, including psychoeducation groups
- Support access to mental and physical health services, including accompanying consumers to appointments
- Train, supervise, and mentor staff delivering basic nursing care
- Maintain nursing supplies and equipment; manage medical emergencies when needed
- Administer therapeutic injections and monitor laboratory levels in consultation with physicians
- Lead and participate in committees, support staff training requirements, and help drive departmental goals
- Provide coverage for Dahlia House nursing as needed
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Associate's degree in nursing required• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
At least one (1) year of psychiatric experience required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
• RN licensed in MO required
• Certified L1MA instructor required
