About the role
What you need to know:
The TRC Head of Strategic IT Change Risk will be responsible for several critical programs, including the following:
Forecast/identify portfolios of risks and related controls impacted by major IT change initiatives
Develop programs to assess and monitor control impacts as change initiatives progress.
Consult and work with technology change teams to ensure that change-related risks are surfaced and appropriately managed during planning and execution of change initiatives and strategic programs
Help maintain and manage the Process, Risk, and Controls (PRC) library to ensure that it remains current as changes progress.
Ensure ownership and management of program controls and compliance mandates.
Enhance the process to ensure that Corebridge is meeting all internal standards and external audit requirements.
Manage and prioritize control issue remediation processes to ensure that the underlying risk to the organization is being managed. Ensure timely remediation of issues.
Develop communications and training programs across multiple channels to ensure successful development of a mature technology risk and control culture.
What we’re looking for:
Experience:
15+ years of experience within technology risk, control and governance, Internal Audit or SOX disciplines with increasing responsibility and work complexity to include progressive management roles in large, complex organizations.
Experience managing a team of risk professionals.
Industry certifications, including CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or similar preferred.
Significant experience in managing complex strategic and/or transformational projects, with Project Management Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
Required: Bachelor’s degree.
Technology Risk & Controls Skills:
Strong expertise in technology risk, including 10+ years working in Audit, SOX, RCSA, and/or risk governance.
Understanding of IT Audit principles and control frameworks (COBIT, NIST).
Ability to oversee multiple projects and initiatives, action plans and key stakeholders simultaneously.
Experience in managing development and presentation of communications and training programs
Ability to facilitate and drive management support of risk management throughout major initiatives.
Experience designing, maintaining, and managing a controls library.
