About the role

We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Client Onboarding and Regulatory Data Services (CORDS) team to to support control functions, oversee vendor activities, coordinate post-account opening setups, and manage client information throughout the client's lifecycle with Morgan Stanley.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you'll do in the role:
- Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
- Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
- Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution
- Review and ensure accuracy of vendor activities and ensuring KRI/KPI metrics are met
- Manage ad hoc requests and reprioritize work effectively to meet urgent business needs

What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
- Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
- Ability to manage high volumes of work, competing priorities, ad hoc requests, and project deliverables, while being self-motivated and working independently with limited guidance
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce process redundancies
- Strong risk awareness and the ability to identify, escalate, and report issues in a timely manner.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Salary range for the position: $51,000 - $82,500 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
