Job Title: Certified Scrub Tech | Full Time Who we are:Peterson Health is an independent, not-for-profit rural community hospital located in Kerrville, TX- heart of the Texas Hill Country. Shift Information:The position is full time, working M-F either five 8 hour shifts or four 10 hour shifts.

Maintains AORN and AST standards to ensure patient safety at all times. Assist the surgeon with gowning and gloving, draping of the sterile field and performing technical tasks. This position has call requirements. Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the US Armed Forces or Public Health Service or was employed to practice surgical technology in health care facility prior to September 2009.

Ability to read, write and follow instructions; strong organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
Meditech, faxing, scanning
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist and Basic Life Support
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Preferred Experience:
One or more years as a CST in a hospital operating room
