If you want to know more about Amadeus "Horizon 3" with "Creation Platform" and "Amadeus 4.0", you can find on <a href="http://developers.amadeus.com/blog/amadeus-technical-platform-part-1" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">this public blog </a>how Creation Platform and Cloud platform are shaping future of Amadeus Open Platform.</p><p></p><h1>Purpose</h1><p></p><p>As Senior Developer in "Massive and Digital Personalization" team, you will focus on the deliveries of new Traveler capabilities in the creation platform through big data technologies.</p><p>The team focuses on analytics and machine learning capabilities on the creation platform big data stack. For example, we deliver the Customer Lifetime Value computation which is a standard machine learning metric computed on Customer Data Platforms.</p><p>In practice, in the team, we do 2 things: </p><ul><li><p>OBE world (C++ &amp; Java, now fully on Azure since early December!). </p></li><li><p>Big data world (Databricks, Snowflake, …). High level description was advertised in a Global Tech Series <a href="http://rndwww.nce.amadeus.net/confluence/display/TF/Global+Tech+Series+202206" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a> </p></li></ul><p></p><p>The department is fully involved in the Traveler Train and is part of the Creation Platform Large Solution.</p><p>The main footprint of Traveler Train is in Nice &amp; Istanbul. Among other partners, you will work closely with Fast Data and Big Data Platform.<br/> </p><h1>Your Main Responsibilities</h1><p></p><p><u>Common accountabilities:</u></p><ul><li><p>Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline.</p></li><li><p>Understands how own area contributes to the business.</p></li><li><p>Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.​</p></li><li><p>Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.​</p></li><li><p>Works independently within plan discussed by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u>Specific accountabilities:</u></p><p></p><p>Analyse specifications</p><ul><li><p>Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Design systems and code.</p><ul><li><p>Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.</p></li><li><p>Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.</p></li><li><p>Develop software according to Amadeus standards.</p></li><li><p> Model, design and implement databases.</p></li></ul><p><br/>Test and maintain the software.</p><ul><li><p>Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.</p></li><li><p> Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst</p></li></ul><p><br/>Document your work.</p><ul><li><p>Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments. </p></li></ul><p></p><h1>About the ideal candidate ​</h1><ul><li><p>Experienced in a language like Java / C++ / Scala </p></li><li><p>We do Big Data: if you know, great, if you don't, you will discover it!</p></li><li><p>Someone interested by fast prototyping and benchmarking of new tech.</p></li><li><p>Concerned with quality and control of tech debt.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge-sharing with team is a mandatory quality.</p></li><li><p>Eager to work in fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.</p></li><li><p>University degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience</p></li></ul><p></p><h1>What we can offer you </h1><ul><li><p>Be rewarded with a competitive remuneration, an individual and company bonus and enjoy many benefits. </p></li><li><p>Work from anywhere: Flexible teleworking from 1 to 3 days per week.
