Job Description: The University of Florida invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration position. This 12-month, non-tenure track position will be responsible for dynamic teaching and dissertation advising, mentoring students, and student support of the online Ed.D. and M.Ed. programs along with the other programs within Higher Education Administration. This 12-month non-tenure accruing faculty appointment will begin Fall 2026 and is based at the Gainesville, FL campus. This is place-based in Gainesville with on-campus expectations. This is not a remote position. The position’s primary assignment is teaching across fall, spring, and summer terms and advising dissertation committees. Responsibilities:- Teach face-to-face and/or online classes at the doctoral level and potentially master’s level as appropriate (Assigned courses will be tailored to the skills of the applicant). Develop course content.
- Advise practitioner-oriented doctoral students and serve on Higher Education Administration doctoral committees. Serve on capstone and doctoral committees for the College of Education.
- Provide support for Higher Education Administration students, including advising students, recruitment, and tracking.
- Provide service to the university and profession.
