AEM Engineer, Senior (NJUS)

Purpose of Position

The AEM Senior Developer will be working on NetJets web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and should have proven experience delivering complex solutions using AEM Sites / Adobe Analytics / Adobe Target and be able to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team. In addition, the Developer should be capable of providing leadership within a team as required by the project.

You will translate the business team’s requirements into technical designs and implement strategies using components of the Adobe Platform to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments. You will also coach and mentor team-members on guidelines and best practices for developing solutions using Adobe Platforms.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance websites using AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
• Create/Migrate websites to AEM as Cloud using HTL/Sightly components and services, Editable templates, Dialogs, Design dialogs, OSGI bundles, AEM launches, Workflows, Localization features, and AEM DAM.
• Integrate websites with other systems like Adobe Analytics / Adobe Target / Salesforce CRM, Translation services, other Analytics tools.
• Develop RESTful services and APIs for consumption.
• AEM setup/configuration, caching, and performance optimization.
• Work towards integrating websites with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch and Adobe Target.
• Ensure the successful deployments and maintenance of AEMaaCS environments.
• Collaborate with UI / UX designers to implement responsive web design.
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
• Write and maintain code quality through AEM best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation.
• Conduct code reviews for ongoing AEM projects to ensure optimal code quality.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines and reach project goals
• Troubleshoot and resolve any AEM issues and bugs.

Required skills:
•    8+ years of implementing websites using Adobe Experience Manager Sites.
•    In-depth understanding and Expertise in developing websites using Java, Java EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
•    Expertise in HTL/Sightly components and services, editable templates, Dialogs, Design dialogs, OSGI bundles, AEM launches, workflows, localization features, and AEM DAM.
•    Expertise with powerful features of AEM such as content fragments, experience fragments, multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, multi-lingual support using AEM multi-site manager, workflow management, etc.
•    Expertise with Coral / Granite UI, Adobe UI customization, in-depth knowledge of AEM Dispatcher configurations.
•    Expertise with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery to be used within AEM Component development.
•    Experience in React Native, React JS, Vue JS, Angular or any other front-end libraries.
•    Expertise in Java / J2EE / Spring concepts.
•    Experience in migrating websites to AEM.
•    Experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins CI/CD, GitHub, Bitbucket.

Nice to have skills:
•    Experience with AEM 6.5, AEM Managed Services, AEM as a Cloud Service.
•    Experience in integrating Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch and Adobe Target with AEM.
•    Experience in developing applications using React Native, React JS.
