Role Overview:

People Experience is a critical performance enabler for our business.  As the People Experience Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the day-to-day experiences of our colleagues across the globe. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to Oliver Wyman’s culture, ensuring that our people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders and teams across multiple regions, acting as a champion for our values and a catalyst for positive change. 

You will help drive initiatives that foster engagement, inclusion, and well-being—ensuring that we embed a consistent approach to positive culture and investment of our values and centre people in everything that we do. 

As a key member of the team that powers our firm’s culture, you’ll help elevate the experience of every colleague, every day. Beyond designing, developing, and delivering flagship global programs, you will help drive innovation—creating and piloting new initiatives that regional teams can adopt and tailor to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, scope, and deliver a portfolio of People Experience (PX) projects and programmes, including but not limited to activities that support working parents, wellbeing, colleague engagement and marketing. Examples of some of the work you may be involved in include:

    • The Culture Academy: Managing processes to make updates and suggest and co-deliver updates to the curriculum and supporting materials.

    • Culture Champions: Engaging with a group of volunteer colleagues who are passionate about our culture and values

    • Values-Driven Leadership (VDL): Support the delivery of the VDL initiative across different teams and locations to drive higher engagement with, understanding of and adherence to the firm’s values

    • Inclusion and Culture Awards: Own the end-to-end process for the awards including annual review, updates and development of the awards 

    • Inclusion and Culture Festival: Own the end-to-end process for the festival including annual review, updates and development of the festival  

  • Develop, deliver, and support strategic communications and engagement plans for key PE initiatives, tailoring messaging style and approach to different levels of seniority and diverse audiences to achieve maximum impact.

  • Create and implement toolkits, presentations, and surveys to enhance colleague engagement and drive broad participation in PE programs.

  • Partner proactively with regional teams and leadership, providing actionable advice and insights, and translating people experience, leadership, and culture concepts into clear recommendations and activities that drive results.

  • Support the budget management process for the PX function.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Self-starter with a bias towards action, comfortable navigating ambiguity and working within a small team that leads major, high-visibility, global initiatives.

  • Well-developed ownership mindset understanding when to be proactive and make decisions versus seeking inputs form others.  Able to work across multi-disciplinary teams demonstrating comfort with leading as well as dynamic subordination as appropriate.
