Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking talented students to join our organization in an internship capacity. This internship position is within Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus Georgia - Columbus Engine Center team.
What You Will Do
The intern will be mentored by the Engine Center Supervisors and will engage in the duties listed below:
- Engine disassembly/assembly – Assist in mechanic duties to disassemble and assemble engines, engine sections and accessories.
- Clean – Assist in cleaning of engine parts and components.
- Assist with visual checks to assess minimal part condition for continued use where applicable. Understand the basic inspection techniques as a part of a career development path.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
- Ability to manage tools and tooling to ensure serviceability before and after use and process appropriately when issues arise.
- FAA Safety Sensitive Position
Qualifications You Must Have
- Currently enrolled in High School
- Enrolled in the Certified Manufacturing or Machining Program at Columbus Technical School or a local area High School
- Machining or Vocational training

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
