Water Project Engineer

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Water Project Engineer to join our Clifton Park, NY office. In this role, you will be involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.

Salary Range is $80,000-$95,000yr.
NOTE: Salary offered is determined based on relevant education, experience, certifications, and regional/location factors.

Responsibilities

• ​Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
• Provide support to Lead Project Engineer, Project Manager and other team members
• Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
• Writing technical reports, memos, communications
• Working on pilot studies 
• Field work and site visits for projects in various phases

Essential Functions

 Experience

• 3+ years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of water resources projects
• MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams required
• AutoCAD and GIS knowledge preferred

Education

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Certifications

• Engineer in Training Certification
