ABOUT THE POSITION
Location: Arlington, VA - Atlanta, GA - Houston, TX
We are looking for an experienced and value-driven professional to join our sustaining production team. As a Field Quality Engineer, you will guide Fluence's success by bringing your knowledge and expertise to help us maintain our quality as we grow.
You will be tasked with owning various quality assurance activities for the Americas region using our tools, your experience, and a collaborative fun environment.You will have the ability to make sound judgment calls and contribute to maintaining a culture of high integrity. If you’re skilled with issue resolution, a great collaborator, and an excellent communicator, we’d like to talk to you!As a Field Quality Engineer, you will: •Collect and analyze customer feedback and data to look for trends and quality improvement opportunities•Monitor products received at customer sites to ensure they meet acceptable quality levels•Interface with project representatives and conduct joint inspections•Responsible for responding and closing out nonconforming reports associated with product or contract manufacturing issues•Assist in investigating problems to uncover root cause & implement corrective/preventive actions•Responsible for deployment of quality improvement actions including rework campaigns and other proactive actions•Supports day-to-day site-specific quality needs for multiple, moderately complex products or product families•Witness and verify dry runs and formal tests•Support collection and analysis of data at customer sites

What will the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- 5+ years of experience working in a quality role
- Experience with product installations at customer sites
- Prior experience working with teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Highest degree of integrity and management of confidential information
- Knowledge of quality management systems and best practices
- Problem solver and result oriented
- High Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
- Experience tracking, prioritizing and driving multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced, growing company.
- Driven, proactive and can-do attitude. You’re hands-on and want to get things done.
