As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day processing of payroll. You'll handle payroll transactions, resolve complex payroll inquiries, and ensure all team members are paid accurately and on time. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you'll serve as a mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle complex team member inquiries related to payroll.
• Maintain payroll records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll tax calculations and deductions.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate team member data.
• Stay informed about payroll regulations and updates.
• Assist with payroll-related projects as needed, serving as the Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Compensation:

Starting pay range:‏‏‎ ‎$20.50/hour - $26.75/hour.‏‏‎ ‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the typical hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company. 

• Associates degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work-related payroll/time and labor experience.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-state payroll processes. 
• Full-cycle payroll processing and time entry experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
