Job Summary
The Supply Chain Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of the supply chain ecosystem. Reporting to Senior Leadership, you will serve as the primary architect for procurement, inventory, and logistics strategies, ensuring total alignment with long-term business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader who can leverage ERP business intelligence to drive excellence, mitigate global risk, and champion a culture of continuous improvement while directly supporting aggressive market growth.


Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Excellence
• Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance through various KPIs and work closely with Business Operations, Supplier Quality, and local Supply Chain Teams to improve overall quality, delivery, and cost of supply base to support overall business objectives.
• Cost Reductions / Savings: Manage Division Level, and participate in Corporate Level, spend management. Oversee the team’s execution of negotiation strategies to drive cost savings while addressing the majority of the Division Level supply chain spend.
• End-to-End Ecosystem Management: Define and execute Division Level inventory and supply chain strategies to maximize cash flow and service levels.
• Performance Analysis: Establish and monitor KPIs to analyze factors impacting the supply chain; develop and update policies to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
• ERP Governance & Digital Transformation: Lead the strategic roadmap for ERP utilization within Supply Chain and inventory. Drive data integrity and advanced analytics to provide executive-level visibility into performance and forecasting.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop and maintain robust contingency frameworks to safeguard the supply chain against geopolitical, economic, and industrial disruptions.
Growth Strategy & Commercial Alignment
• Business Development Support: Oversee strategies that prioritize growth through competitive market analysis and maintaining key relationships with current and new customers.
• Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Spearhead the alignment of production planning with sales, finance, and operations. Ensure the supply chain is agile enough to respond to volatile market demands.
• M&A and Integration: Source, conduct due diligence, and assist with the functional integration of acquired companies.
Sourcing & Lifecycle Management
• Strategic Sourcing: Direct the procurement function to build a resilient, high-performance supplier base. Lead high-stakes negotiations and multi-year sourcing strategies to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Product Development: Participate in engineering changes, product line extensions, and new product launches to ensure timely material receipts and cost-effective material availability.
• Supplier Relations: Maintain regular interface with suppliers and distributors, qualifying new partners in collaboration with other business units.
Leadership & Organizational Development
• Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and scale the supply chain and proposal/sales teams. Foster a high-performance culture focused on professional growth and operational excellence.
• Executive Collaboration: Serve as a key stakeholder on the leadership team, bridging the gap between supply chain operations and corporate financial goals.


Required Skills and Qualifications
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence C-suite stakeholders with a "strategic-first" mindset.
• Analytical Rigor: Strong financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and expert-level knowledge of Tier-1 ERP systems.
• Communication & Negotiation: Superior verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to create and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
