ManTech is seeking a Cloud Engineer Lead to join our team supporting our growing Defense Sector and Marine Corps programs.

Performance shall include:

  • Experience working with programming language such as Java, C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Pig/Hive and/or Elixir.
  • Responsible for cloud system plans and strategy, design, and development of application into a Cloud or Hybrid Cloud.
  • Responsible for architecting and leading the development and integration of cloud-based information and computer systems.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end cloud deployment experience form concept development to deployment.
  • Providing advanced knowledge and support for integrating Infrastructure, DoD Enterprise Architecture, Network Engineering, Cloud Migration Strategy, and Cloud Business Process Management
  • Define, build, and evolve a cloud strategy to meet enterprise needs.
  • Develop strategies for exploiting cloud to solve current IT problems and establishing the foundation for the next-generation solutions of tomorrow.
  • Develop migration methodologies and techniques to optimize an application’s contribution to deliver the desired business outcomes and IT goals.
  • Develop technology policy documentation to support Cloud Services.
  • Develop migration methodologies and techniques for migrating to private and commercial cloud for DoD mission partners.
  • The work is to be conducted at the customer site and may involve CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience supporting cloud architecture design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (+5 years' experience) in a STEM focused area

Certification:

  • Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA), or AWS Solutions Architect (Professional)

Desired:

  • Experience with large cloud computing infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience utilizing AGILE development methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management.

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.
  • The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
