JOB DESCRIPTION:
Join us for the Summer 2025 Internship Program!
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales support and business development, focusing on creating impactful presentations, leveraging Salesforce, and understanding Commvault's unique offerings.
*Students must live in Michigan for weekly meetings with hiring manager*
What you’ll do:
Sales Presentation Generation:
- Assist in the creation and enhancement of sales presentations that highlight Commvault differentiators and address customer needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure presentations are tailored for specific audiences.
Create and develop customer testimonials and business case creation
- Document customer before and after situations
- Why technically and financially they switched to Commvault
- Create customer facing ‘one pager’ representation of the story
Salesforce Activities:
- Support the sales team by managing Salesforce activities, including lead tracking and opportunity updates.
- Help maintain data accuracy within Salesforce and assist in generating reports for sales analysis.
Understanding Commvault Differentiators:
- Conduct research on Commvault’s product features and market positioning to better understand its competitive advantages.
- Assist in updating sales materials with the latest information on product offerings and benefits.
ROI/TCO Comparison Work:
- Help prepare ROI and TCO analyses for potential clients, using provided templates and data.
- Create comparison reports that clearly illustrate the value of Commvault solutions versus competitors.
PowerPoint and Visual Aids:
- Support the design and development of visually engaging PowerPoint presentations, including infographics and charts.
- Ensure all visual materials effectively communicate key messages and support the sales narrative.
General Support:
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales strategies and processes.
- Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Who you are:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong interest in business development and sales.
Basic knowledge of Salesforce and PowerPoint; familiarity with Excel is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
