Your Role
- Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Scala and Databricks.
- Implementing orchestration workflows to ensure reliable and efficient data movement.
- Applying data governance and compliance principles throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
- Leveraging Databricks technologies to optimize performance and scalability.
- Designing and managing Delta Lake architectures and Lakehouse patterns.
- Utilizing Unity Catalog for metadata management, access control, and governance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, client-facing solutions.
Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Scala development experience, with a self-rating of at least 8/10.
- Proven expertise in Databricks streaming and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, pipeline orchestration, and data modeling.
- Comfortable working in cloud environments and using cloud-native tools.
- Experience in external client-facing roles with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse design patterns.
- Knowledge of Unity Catalog for managing metadata, access control, and governance.
