B-Shift FSQA Supervisor-Waterloo Pork Plant

Job Details:

Summary:

This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include paperwork verification; production floor checks; performing GMP and housekeeping audits; and Team Member food safety training. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA regulations, GMP, SSOPs, and safety chain required.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills required, including the ability to create simple queries and spreadsheets. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organization is required.

Supervisory:

This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
