JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of a licensed staff member, perform clerical support such as typing, stapling, filing, duplicating, faxing, laminating, collating, counting, inventorying and ordering of supplies, answering telephones, greeting visitors, entering data into computers, and simple bookkeeping. Assist with preparation of student learning materials and support coordinators in the assigned program. May monitor, manage, and assist students during classroom activities and student testing, recess, lunch, detention, in-house suspension, and before or after school.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe subsequent duties outline the fundamental operations of the position and exemplify the nature of the tasks carried out. Job Task Descriptions Frequency Percentage of Time 1.  Perform basic clerical work such as data entry/typing, stapling, filing, duplicating, laminating, mail distribution, taking inventory, ordering office supplies, answering phones, taking messages, and office reception. Schedule meetings as requested. Daily 50% 2. Support teachers and instructional para-educators with student testing and preparation of learning materials. Daily 15% 3. May monitor, manage, and assist students during classroom activities and student testing, recess, lunch, detention, in-house suspension, and before or after school.  Daily 10% 4. Provide support to teachers and resource center technicians as needed.  Daily 5% 5. Draft and distribute reports and/or formal communication to staff and/or parents. Weekly 5% 6. Help maintain program files, inventory, calendars, equipment maintenance, and repair schedules. May include budget tracking. [Weekly, 5%] Weekly 5% 7. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.
