Sr. System Analyst

Aperio Global is seeking a senior application analyst who will be responsible for the administration, monitoring and maintenance of software infrastructures and applications. You'll oversee practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety and availability of all data and applications as part of the program’s information systems. This position entails a strong focus on configuring, designing, and extending functional applications to align with specific business processes and requirements and plays a crucial role in providing functional support and guidance to development team members.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a senior-level subject matter expert in software development and lifecycle support, providing insights and recommendations based on extensive knowledge and experience.
• Utilize expertise to set up, configure, and design functional extensions and code, ensuring the successful implementation of applications that align with desired business processes and requirements.
• Thoroughly document detailed requirements, analyze business needs, and facilitate the translation of these needs into actionable development and configuration tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to code and configure applications, using best practices to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work closely with business owners to validate solutions, ensuring they meet the established business requirements and address identified needs effectively.
• Configure and integrate software modules to create seamless, end-to-end solutions that support the organization's business objectives.
• Provide functional support to development team members, offering guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and expertise to ensure successful application development and implementation.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in software development processes, applications, and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8 years of progressive and continuous software development experience, especially software development and its full lifecycle support.
• Experience in creating client-side application interfaces, developing services, and implementing backend for mobile, digital display, kiosk, and web applications using a range of technologies and tools.
• At least 2 years’ experience in running business process workshops, presenting, and facilitating links to technical design. Proficient with application table structures, database and report writing tools, integration, and business functions. Accustomed to working in a disciplined system development life cycle (SDLC) environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to elicit and document requirements, provide day to day support of the business users and support month-end close.
• Experience with Node.js, Angular, application security framework, Ionic, JavaScript Object Notation [JSON], real-time databases, Hyper Text Markup Language [HTML5], CSS3, GIT, Web Application Program Interfacing [API], Chrome OS, Drupal, Workday, Salesforce, AWS, Swift, Azure, Google Cloud, SharePoint, O365, GIS, EAM/CMMS, CLMS, PLC and BAS, MUFIDS, CUPPS, IoT, airports systems, SAML2.0, OAuth 2.0, and other Web Authentication and Authorization techniques.
• Experience in highly sophisticated technologies, such as beacons, IoT, CC, NLP, ML/DL, AI, VR, ANN, and blockchain with conventional mobile, web, PWA, and digital signage systems is a plus.
