Lucid Motors is looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment where you will work with a highly motivated team on extremely challenging projects. In addition to developing manufacturing equipment and processes, the Manufacturing Engineers work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with Design Engineering, Quality and Production to take product design changes and new designs from initial concept through prototype development and into full production.

You Will:

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead the technical efforts of teams engaged in the complex multidisciplinary technological development
  • Develop and provide tools & facilities for manufacturing & inspections processes
  • Validate and characterize new equipment and fixtures for production implementation
  • Link with Industrial Engineers to align inspection elements with required tools & facilities
  • Closely collaborate with factory’s quality engineers to design the ideal workstation for inspection
  • Design up-stream testing systems to improve first run at start up
  • Constantly adapt workstations based on inspection requirements
  • Create detailed Manufacturing Instructions to document new processes
  • Design production workstations for ergonomics and efficiency
  • Design manufacturing equipment and fixtures
  • Drive design for manufacturability
  • Travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
  • 2+ years in Automotive Manufacturing or closely related field required
  • Experience developing manufacturing processes for new and unique products
  • Experience introducing new equipment and new processes into a production environment
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
