Prior Medical Assistant experience is a plus, but we can provide comprehensive training to get you certified as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Allied Health. Our RMA training program is 3-6 weeks long, depending on your experience.

About the Training Program:

Upon selection, you will be enrolled in Logan Health's Registered Medical Assistant paid training program. This comprehensive program will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a practice setting preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory values
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Record medical history and vital signs
• Administer medications and perform injections
• Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomy
• Maintain medical records and charts
• Assist with office administrative tasks

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
