Reporting to the Sr. Manager Global Compensation, the Compensation Analyst will serve as a key member of the Global Rewards team and support our Human Resource function across the organization. This is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day compensation administration including conducting market research, assisting in the facilitation of our equity programs, salary survey submissions, while providing compensation analysis, support, and guidance of the annual process. This role will work closely with the HR Leadership team to help drive, align and implement our global compensation framework and position Regal Rexnord as an employer of choice. Successful candidate has a desire to advance their professional development while contributing meaningful results to the Rewards function aligned with the long-term strategy of Regal Rexnord.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in evolving Regal Rexnord’s global compensation (short term and long term) strategy, processes and programs.
- Collaborate and partner with HR colleagues to understand their challenges related to compensation programs; and key issues in attracting, motivating and retaining high quality, diverse talent.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and deliver results aligned with enterprise and HR strategy, including policy deployment initiatives.
- Supports compensation related projects and provides guidance to HR colleagues on compensation philosophy, policies, programs and processes.
- Provide support on Regal Rexnord’s annual global compensation reviews, including merit, bonus and equity planning within Workday & Fidelity, in partnership with HR team members.
- Assists in the day-to-day operational execution of long-term incentive management program in partnership with external vendor.
- Maintain job codes, salary structures, salary grades, salary adjustment/progression guidelines, and starting salary information
- Provide data-driven insights to support compensation decisions, reports, and recommendations.
- Contribute to global compensation projects, including job evaluations and salary benchmarking.
- Participates in a variety of salary surveys and follows-up on any data integrity issues. Partners with consultants from third-party firms to assist in the execution of benchmarking.
- Assist in the preparation and communication of compensation-related materials for employees and managers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of compensation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and global regulations.
- Identify and recommend improvements and efficiencies around global compensation processes and programs.
Professional Experience/ Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, or compensation analysis; preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets (Pivot tables, x-lookup, formulas, graphing, and analytics).
- Proven ability to be hands on, roll up sleeves and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results-orientation. Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal’s 80/20 principles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
