Jabil has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in San Jose, CA to help support global finance and accounting functions!

How will you make an impact? 

As an Accounting Clerk, you will provide Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Payroll support to the Finance team.

What will you do?

• Follow up on outstanding AR invoices with Customer Service Administrator and contact the customer directly to maintain past due AR of less than 2%
• Enter non-PO vendor invoices using Coupa
• Respond to vendors on invoices and payment inquiries
• Assist with timecard review and approvals for Payroll.
• Submit timecards to Temp Agencies and process the invoices
• Perform all AP, AR, and Payroll month end reports, including Reconciliation, monthly accruals, GL review, and classes
• Run Weekly AR, and OT reports for the Financial Analyst
• Coordinate with other departments for actual expense-related inquiries

How will you get here? 

Education: 

• High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.

Experience: 

• Requires a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• Must understand basic accounting principles and being able to perform basic math skills
• Knowledge of SOX and GAAP
• Advanced computer skills including Word and Excel
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

The hourly pay range for this role is $21.15 - $38.07. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, education (if requirement noted above), geographic location, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
