What you'll do
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Marketing Data Architect to join our Enterprise Data Warehousing Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture specifically for marketing analytics and insights. This role focuses on creating a robust infrastructure that supports large-scale data collection, storage, and analysis, helping marketing teams make informed decisions
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Data Architecture & Engineering.
Responsibility
- Design and develop data models and database architecture specifically tailored for marketing data analytics and reporting within a data warehousing environment
- Work closely with marketing teams to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement and maintain scalable and efficient data warehouses and data marts that support various marketing functions, including campaign management, customer segmentation, and ROI analysis
- Optimize data flows and architecture to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and quality, ensuring data is available for real-time and batch processing
- Develop and enforce best practices and standards for data modeling, data extraction, and data loading into the data warehouse
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that the data architecture supports the goals of the marketing team while aligning with the overall business strategy
- Prepare and maintain documentation of data architectures, configurations, and processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data warehousing and marketing technologies to continuously improve the data infrastructure
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience with database structure principles, data modeling, and metadata management
12+ years proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role with a focus on data warehousing and marketing data analytics
Experience in designing data platforms for large-scale data and diverse data architectures, including warehouses, lake houses, and integrated data stores
Experience in marketing data and analytics, including attribution models, propensity models, segmentation, contact customer databases, and campaign tracking
Experience in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Iterable, Eloqua) and their integration with data warehouses
Experience in a variety of technologies: SQL, Bash, Python, Java, Spark, AWS, DataOps, DevSecOps, data stacks like Airflow, dbt, and data stores like Snowflake, Aurora
Preferred
Master’s degree
Experience with data security (including PHI and PII), as well as data privacy regulations (CCPA and GDPR)
Proficient in addressing data-related challenges through analytical problem-solving and aligning data architecture with organizational business goals and objectives
Exposure to analytics techniques using ML and AI to assist data scientists and analysts in deriving insights from data
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to align complex data architecture decisions with organizational AI/ML business goals
Ability to manage project
