Position Summary

Under moderate supervision, performs basic claims support and administrative activities for various disciplines.

 

  • This is an in office position with possible hybrid schedule after training
  • Hours are from 8:00am-4:30pm
  • The hiring manager will also consider candidates for Claims Support Specialist II.  Level of position offered will be based upon the depth and breadth of selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
     

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs support and administrative functions, including but not limited to preparing claims documents and information within established procedures and supports third party relationships and processes. 
 
Provides inbound and outbound phone support and responds to inquiries from customers, escalates as appropriate.  
  
Assists claims personnel with various activities.

Greets, screens, and directs visitors to appropriate personnel.
 
Performs various system-related tasks; assists in resolving systems problems. 

Assists with financial transactions within established procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and email and calendar scheduling software required. 

Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and 80 net data entry keystrokes per minute and customer service in a professional setting, administrative, claims support or office experience, preferred.

Travel for training and business required. 

Valid driver's license preferred.
