As an Assistant Store Manager, you are the vital link between Store Management and the team. You bring positive energy to the shop floor, lead by example, and create an inspiring, performance-oriented workplace while embodying Fossil's core values. You actively support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of the team. Together with Store Management, you ensure smooth business operations and an exceptional shopping experience. You analyze KPIs, develop long-term strategies, and motivate the team—because at Fossil, we are Greater Together.
Your Responsibilities
• Daily coaching, motivating, and supporting the team.
• Close collaboration with Store Management regarding objectives and team leadership.
• Shared responsibility for recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
• Monitoring sales figures, KPIs, and operational processes.
• Fostering a positive team culture and an excellent customer experience.
• Ensuring compliance with store standards and company policies and procedures.
• Assuming store leadership in the absence of Store Management.
Your Profile
• Leadership experience in retail, preferably within the fashion/lifestyle sector.
• A positive, inclusive, and motivating leadership style.
• A passion for developing a team and celebrating collective successes.
• Analytical thinking and a practical, hands-on mentality.
• Passionate about fashion, lifestyle, and people.
• A friendly and service-oriented attitude.
• Strong communication and social skills; proficiency in Dutch is required.
• Driven by sales targets and KPIs.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Open-minded, reliable, eager to learn, and motivated.
