Sr. Manager, Business Process Excellence SAP Transformation

The Sr. Manager, Business Process Excellence (BPE), SAP Transformation is is a critical leadership role in the strategic management of BD Biosciences (BDB) technology platforms, as well as providing leadership for the development of the technology portfolio and roadmap.  The Sr. Manager will champion technology adoption, optimization and integration across the organization, drive simplification, modernization, enhance organizational capabilities and operational efficiency, and provide leadership excellence in the management of critical, complex, cross functional technology initiatives as key drivers of BDB’s strategic objectives.  The Sr. Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a complex cross-functional team using best practice project management, Agile, SDLC and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. The Sr. Manager is ultimately responsible for the execution, quality and results of their project, including achieving defined strategic and financial objectives once the project has launched. The Sr. Manager is measured on their ability to lead the team in achieving cost, schedule, and performance goals of the project, ensuring sustainable results. This high visibility leadership role will present frequently across various levels up to and including senior leadership.

The Sr. Manager BPE SAP Transformation provides leadership for key technology transformations in one or more of the following areas:

• Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) - Demand & Supply Chain Planning, Production, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Logistics/Warehousing.

• Sales – Quote and Contract Management, Order Management, Billing.

• Procure to Pay – Requisitioning, Purchasing, Receiving, Accounts Payable.

• Service Management – Repairs, Service Contract Management, Complaint Management.

• Research & Development - Product Lifecycle Management, Operationalization of New Products.

Job Description:

• BDBs Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (SAP) and Technology Platform Project Manager for BDBs key transformations, deployments, enhancements & releases (Project Curie, etc.)

• Using best practice technology and project management tools and methodologies, responsible for full-cycle project management from concept and initiation, business case, business needs assessments, requirements, solutioning, impact assessment, integrations, process mapping and documentation, testing, training, planning, execution and project closure/transition to sustaining

• Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered to successfully achieve Key Performance Indicators, providing consistent and effective communication on status, handling escalation and avoiding risk.

• Liaison between the business and our IT team (TGS), partners on BDBs Technology Governance and Technology Portfolio Management: Demand intake, maintain pipeline opportunities, opportunity assessment prioritization, strategic alignment, & roadmap development in support of our annual strategic planning cycle

• Champion technology, automation to drive sustainability & modernization across BDB Globally.  Build Knowledge and capability in BDBs technologies and processes in emerging technologies as well as improvements to existing investments by staying ahead of industry trends and domain expertise in usage of new trends.

• Liaise with other business units and/or regions when developing and/or changing policies, programs, or processes as necessary, as well as corporate Process and Global Services organizations when applicable.

• SAP/Technology Super User, Break/Fix, Diagnosis & Troubleshoot and build organization capabilities via training, education and communications to leverage our technology investments

Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business, finance, Business
