(Senior) Teamhead Licensed Business Teamsport

YOUR MISSION

• Lead, steer and drive the business development strategy globally for our key football club partners such as Manchester City, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, our partner federations as well as our league ball partnerships

• Responsible for the day-to-day effective management of the licensing business in relation to the assigned partners

• Cross functional alignment to ensure seamless communication and optimal use of rights , fulfilment of obligations and return of investment

• In coordination with controlling and finance team ensure financial compliance, fulfilment of contractual obligations and financial data management and analyses

• Assist respective senior management in the negotiations with potential new asset partners and extension of existing partnerships

• Support respective senior management in the briefing of legal team for the development of LOI, LOA or long form agreements

• Be the go-to-person and mentor for P&L and ROI planning and analyses

• Together with the relevant PUMA stakeholders (incl. its affiliates) develop and steer a business and go-to-market strategy for licensed merchandise

• Steer and ensure that Business Units, subsidiaries and affiliates are fully informed  with regards to product, price and distribution policy alignment with partners’ brands and corporate identity guidelines

• Create reports and coordinate for assigned licensed partners in line with partner expectations and contractual obligations

• Check royalty report accuracy

YOUR TALENT

• University degree in business administration, sports management, finance, product, law and/or relevant field of study

• 8 years + of experience in Licensing, product management, sports management, legal or business development

• Great experience in leading a global team

• Excellent English language skills, Italian, German and other language skills are a plus

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills required

• Outstanding business acumen, process focus and exceptional analytical skills required

• Great experience in managing complex projects and processes across different channels and in a collaborative and international environment

• Open minded, flexible, open to travel and working in a multi-cultural environment

• Experience in the sports/fashion, athletic/apparel industry and understanding of the product development & seasonal go-to-market process is a plus
