Our Behavior and Transfer Manager will:

Leads, develops, and manages the Behavior and Transfer Team at Nevada Humane Society. This position is responsible for assessing the behavioral health of animals entering the shelter, supporting animal wellbeing through enrichment and broad-spectrum behavior support, developing and maintaining a shelter behavior program and robust transfer program with local and regional transfer partners. This individual will also assist in developing training programs for staff, fosters, volunteers, and adopters to support organizational behavior goals for animals. This role will also oversee departmental staff, including working with authorized personnel to make employment decisions in alignment with organizational goals and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures and employment laws.
