Overview

The Event Programing Manger will help the Director of Ticketing create and manage all concert and other ticket events for the CFG Bank Arena. The Candidate will be a driven self-starter who works well without significant oversight and can work in a high-pressure environment. In addition, the candidate will have a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with all members of the team. This candidate will interface with Ticketmaster, Live Nation, Feld, and other promoters to create and manage their events.  The Event Programming Manger will operate within the scope of generally accepted ticket operations standards and practices.  He/She shall help manage concerts and events, will help hire, train, supervise and manage the Box Office staff which may exceed over 20 people.  Event Programming Manager will be proficient in TM One, TM Host, Archtics, Account Manager and Microsoft Office.

 

This role will pay a salary of $70,000 to $75,000.

Responsibilities

  • Build events in the ticketing system, including seating manifests, price tables, hold/kills, discounts, pre-sales, etc.
  • Manage all information being sent and posted through the ticketing system.
  • Works closely with event promoters and tenants on a daily basis to provide advice, assistance, and ticket sales status information.
  • Investigate and resolve ticket-related issues.
  • Help prepare ticketing reports or event settlements and assist senior staff in settlement with promoters.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Analyze challenges, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of organizational objectives.
  • Manage ticket resolution staff.
  • Assist Box Office Management with overall supervision of event staffers as needed.
  • Assist and support box office staff as needed.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of box office/ticketing related experience including supervisory experience 
  • Extensive knowledge of Ticketmaster Host and Archtics System
  • Ability to provide leadership, engage in positive interaction with staff and guests.
  • Skill and working knowledge of computerized ticketing operations and office software (Ticketmaster Host system, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlo
