Shipping Clerk - $24.26/hr

Position Title: 

Shipping Clerk

 

Pay Rate:

.40 shift differential

$21.20 for the first two weeks

$22.13 during probationary period

$24.26 after probationary period (Generally 90 days)

 

Sign-on Bonus:       

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time 6:00pm – 6:00am

The Job You Will Perform:

 

• Perform Administrative duties;
• Perform PM checks on forklifts;
• Train in procedures to lock out trailers;
• Load and unload trailers in a safe and timely manner;
• Responsible for maintaining monthly inventory of finished materials;
• Responsible to keep warehouse and rows organized;
• Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions;
• Accurate record keeping and organizational skills a must;
• Other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

 

• Forklift Certified or Forklift Certified for IP.
• Be responsible, reliable self-motivated and cooperative;
• Safety record must be above average;
• Maintain a good attendance record;
• Perform above average quantity of work at present job;
• Computer skills and ability to complete all required paperwork;
• Ability to do basic math calculations;
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Successful candidates must not have any active disciplinary warning for poor attendance or   job performance beyond a verbal warning (step one of our four step disciplinary process).
