What You Will Do:
The successful candidate will be willing and able to:
- Support daily front and back office operations, including staffing, patient flow, productivity, EHR documentation, and patient experience.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and support staff, volunteers, and students; oversee onboarding, coaching, performance documentation, and training compliance.
- Monitor adherence to clinical standards, policies, procedures, HIPAA, safety, infection control, and regulatory program requirements.
- Coordinate clinical workflows, scheduling, and interdepartmental collaboration to improve efficiency, quality of care, and patient wait times.
- Oversee equipment inspections, medication inventory, supply management, and quality assurance processes.
- Assist with audits, regulatory readiness, and special program compliance (e.g., VFC, Medi-Cal, HRSA, OSHA, PCMH).
- Support patient follow-up communications and EHR portal processes.
- Collaborate with Clinic Manager and leadership on staffing, hiring, performance evaluations, morale, and issue resolution; provide managerial coverage as needed.
- Attend meetings, committees, and trainings; conduct meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Eligibility: Benefits are available to employees working 30+ hours per week, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Compensation Disclosure: $90,000.00 - $94,500.00
The compensation range listed reflects Elica’s good-faith estimate of the anticipated hiring range for this position in accordance with California pay transparency requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and qualification.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical, health or social services setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Public Administration or related field.
- Previous work experience in a community clinic or FQHC highly preferred
- Training and HIPAA knowledge is a must
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.
