About the Role

Project Lift, a multi-state Retro Fitness franchise group backed by BlackRock, is growing rapidly across Texas, Florida, and New York. We’re hiring a Group Exercise Director to lead programming, instructor hiring, and quality control across our Texas clubs in Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston.

This position drives the overall group fitness experience by ensuring classes are consistent, engaging, and aligned with the Retro Fitness brand. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and skilled at managing from a distance while keeping local teams motivated and supported.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and coach group exercise instructors across all Texas clubs
• Maintain class schedules and regional sub lists
• Ensure instructors maintain valid certifications (Group Fitness, CPR/AED)
• Conduct in-person and virtual class audits to ensure brand standards
• Support Club and Fitness Managers with instructor performance and scheduling coverage
• Collaborate on presale activations, community events, and member engagement
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-site or regional group exercise leadership preferred
• Nationally recognized certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.)
• CPR/AED certified
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and support teams remotely
• Willingness to travel 30–50% between DFW and Houston

Compensation: $60,000.00 per year
