About the role

Description

The Division of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents and fellows within the clinical setting. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients in the outpatient setting and as an attending physician on an inpatient consult service.

There may be an opportunity for patient-oriented research in human genetics or genomic medicine, but this is not required.
