About the role
The Mobile Apps Engineering team is looking for an Android or iOS Software Engineer Intern to help us build our robotaxi ride-hailing app. Our teams create the interface between the fleet of autonomous vehicles and the end user's experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity for tremendous impact on our future service, building one of the main interaction points for our customers. We are looking for a talented and curious engineer with mobile development experience, proactivity in building a great user experience, and a passion for building the future.
Vaccine MandateEmployees working in this position will be required to have received a vaccine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and/or the World Health Organization. In addition, employees who are eligible for a COVID-19 booster vaccine (“Booster”) will be required to receive a Booster. Employees will be required to show proof of vaccination status upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment. That offer of employment will be conditioned upon, among other things, an Applicant’s ability to show proof of vaccination status. Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, math, or related field
- Fluent in Swift (iOS) or/and the Kotlin (Android) programming language
- Ability to write reusable, modularized and testable code (with automation tests)
- Good understanding of OOP and modern mobile architecture patterns (MVP, MVVM)
- Passion for learning new technologies, domains, and challenging the status quo
