Accounting Specialist / Product Cost Analyst

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Accounting Specialist/Product Cost Analyst in Villa Rica, GA. This position will report to the Plant Controller.

Minimum Requirements:

• A recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2-3 years of work experience in related field (for Plant Cost Analyst)

• Exhibits application of analytical abilities and collaborative mindset

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Related work experience or internship in this field is a plus

• High Excel proficiency

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and in teams as needed

• Be able to prioritize and multitask the workflow

Key Responsibilities & Competencies:

• Perform analysis and interpretation of operational performance

• Perform inventory costing roll up

• Monitor inventory and investigate/correct unusual items in inventory

• Monitor and review job cost study data and investigate/correct unusual items

• Assist Plant Controller in meeting plant objectives

• Assist with the monthly financial closing process

• Maintenance of general ledger and account reconciliations

• Communicate effectively with all levels of plant and administrative associates • Strong local leadership presence in production

• Ability to interpret and have a positive influence on operational results

• Strong working knowledge of Printpack systems and financial policies
