Our work depends on Subcontracts Administrator Associate joining our team to provide support with related work to the subcontract life cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout.
HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Assists in the negotiation and administration of assigned NDAs, TA,s subcontracts, purchase orders, and other related agreements
- Assists in preparation of subcontract solicitations
- Participates in the evaluation of subcontractor proposals for adherence to company and client requirements
- Participates in the review and coordination of approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of all subcontract documents
- Participates in negotiating and drafting subcontract modifications
- Prepares status reports and briefs management on issues or problems
- Assists management and subcontract personnel in preparing procedural changes
- Assists management and subcontract personnel in the resolution of subcontract-related problems
- Develops current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices
- Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- Required Experience: 0-2 years of related experience in contracts administration or corporate environment
- Required Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Required Skills and Abilities: Effective administrative and organizational skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to operate and negotiate independently. Problem solving skills.
- Security clearance level: None required
- Location: This is a hybrid position working at a GDIT facility in Herndon, VA and remote. Position will require working onsite 3 days a week.
Due to the nature of the work performed and access to restricted data, US Citizenship required
