The Talent and Learning Coordinator supports the Global Talent and Learning team by managing and coordinating various aspects of talent development and learning programs. This role involves logistical planning, program administration, and collaboration with different departments to ensure effective delivery and tracking of learning and development initiatives. It is integral to executing HR strategies that aim to develop talent, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational performance.
Role Responsibilities
- Administer Western Union’s learning management system (LMS) and adjunct learning systems, including publication, maintenance, and support of learning assets and events.
- Organize and schedule training sessions, workshops, and other learning events.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide support to employees during their learning process, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Manage learning resources, including budget, software licenses, and resource management for Global Talent and Learning.
- Collaborate with external (i.e., Operations) and internal (i.e., HRBP) partners as needed.
- Organize and manage logistics for leadership development programs, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and materials preparation.
- Support the implementation of talent management initiatives, such as performance management, talent review, and succession planning.
- Maintain and update records related to learning programs, track participation, and generate reports on program effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between HR and employees, providing information and support regarding learning opportunities and career development.
- Consult with stakeholders to create and refine specific audience profiles to automate curation and assignment of learning content for each audience.
- Project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Role Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Talent and Learning
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and spoken) to work effectively with others to understand and resolve needs
- Strong organizational skills, proficiency with HR systems and LMS, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid analytical skills to report and evaluate training/talent data
- Solid technical skills to load training courseware, use necessary equipment, and troubleshoot issues
- Solid problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying the root cause
- Strong in the use of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Flexible and adaptive to changing business contexts and priorities
- Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience administering an LMS (Workday preferred).
- Ensures accuracy in program administration and data management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can manage changing priorities.
