Job description

The Field Sales Officer identifies and creates new opportunities within their territory and converts them into purchase orders. They manage and develop their customer portfolio in line with the sales strategy.

The territory covered is the Flanders region.

Main Responsibilities:

 

Sales Management: Manage a geographical area, promote sales of the entire product range, seek new customers, analyze customer needs, create offers, organize visits, schedule appointments, accept and follow up on orders.

Customer Visits: Responsible for developing promotional actions through customer visits to meet their expectations. The minimum number of monthly visits is agreed with the manager.

Business Development: Responsible for identifying new customers and opportunities for business development based on the installed base.

Action Plan: Responsible for monitoring sales activity, analyzing gaps against targets, and proposing appropriate sales actions.

Customer Relationship/Satisfaction: Manage customer relations professionally, including providing appropriate reports to customers.

Data Management: Ensure the use of corporate tools to keep all information related to activities (quotes, orders) up to date.

Organization: Use CRM Sales Forces to track opportunity conversions and update the business portfolio.

Required Education and Experience:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with experience as a field sales engineer in the electrical/electrotechnical sector.

Skills Requirements:

Technical: Electrical Engineer (power electronics, telecommunications, IT, power distribution). Alternatively, an Economics degree with an electrical background.

Good knowledge of the Belux electrical market and a developed professional network.

Proficient in MS Office (PPT, Excel) and experience with ERP systems.

Languages: Fluent in French and Flemish, English required.
Category B driver’s license.
