<p>Job Title</p>Software Development Engineer - Revenue Accounting<h1>Business environment:</h1><p>Amadeus Revenue Accounting enables airlines to track all passenger sales revenues in real-time, facilitating strategic decision-making, and maximizing their productivity by automating many revenue accounting processes.</p><p>It is part of the Amadeus Financial Suite which represents a significant potential for diversification and company growth.</p><p></p><p>The functional solution must be built in close relationship with our customers while proposing major innovations compared to existing products, defining the next-generation of airline financial systems.</p><p></p><p>Revenue Accounting is integrated to Altéa, which implies working with other divisions and acquiring deep functional knowledge on other areas (Altéa DCS, Ticketing, SSP, etc.).</p><p></p><p><u>One of the biggest airlines in the word (in PBs) recently selected our Amadeus Revenue Accounting solution!</u> We are currently building a Standalone Revenue Accounting able to connect to non-Altea customers.</p><p></p><h1>About the role:</h1><p>In Revenue Accounting department you will work in a rich environment with diverse opportunities to grow either on functional side (acquisition, accounting, interline billing, reporting,..) and/or technical side (going from classical C++ backend to Java SKube microservices and even based architecture using Kafka. On storage side we have the biggest Oracle Database in Amadeus and powerful Big Data solutions using MongoDB and Azure Databricks. On UI side the migration to Angular is at the corner, without forgetting of course our migration to the Cloud, and DevOps activities...) </p><p></p><p>As a Software Development Engineer in a SAFe environment you will join a friendly team and contribute to the ongoing projects mainly focused, but not limited to, building the Standalone Revenue Accounting (Java/SKube and C++) for American Airline.</p><p></p><p>If you want to be part of this adventure, or want more information, don't hesitate to contact us.</p><p></p><p>Common accountabilities:<br/><br/>- Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area. ​<br/><br/>- Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.​<br/><br/>- Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.<br/><br/>Specific accountabilities:<br/><br/>● Analyse specifications<br/>_ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.<br/><br/>● Design systems and code<br/>_ Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.<br/>_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.<br/>_ Develop software according to Amadeus standards.<br/>_ Model, design and implement databases.<br/><br/>● Test and maintain the software<br/>_ Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.<br/>_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.<br/>_ Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst<br/><br/>● Document your work<br/>_ Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.</p><h1><br/><br/>About the ideal candidate:</h1><p></p><p>You have: <br/>•    At least 1-year of experience as C++ developer.</p><p>•   Knowledge of Java<br/>•    University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience</p><p>•  Azure or Cloud experience is a plus</p><p>•  Python knowledge, in addition, to C++, is appreciated.</p><p>•  Fluent English</p><p></p><p>We are a global company full of the greatest innovators, delivering breakthrough solutions.
