This is a hybrid position with 1-2 days a week on-site. This role is eligible for the 9/80 flex schedule.
The pay for this position is between $86,031 - $98,940 annually.

Summary
The Special Projects Manager will lead and manage projects aimed at progressing the strategic plan, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative team culture. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish operational best practices, and work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to meet organizational objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a balance of leadership, technical, and project management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovative problem-solving.
Primary Duties
• Project Planning & Execution: Plan and implement agency or leadership-driven initiatives and projects.
• Project Management: Lead collaborative initiatives, managing resources, timelines, and cross-functional teams. Deliver measurable results and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to align project objectives with organizational strategies. Maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure high levels of engagement and coordination.
• Procedure Development: Create and maintain documentation that establishes seamless and efficient operational procedures, ensuring compliance with agency standards.
• Reporting & Accountability: Regularly report program metrics and status to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement: Help identify and implement opportunities for improvements in process, efficiency, or operational best practices to enhance business effectiveness and overall performance of agency.
• Board Governance Support: Support Chief of Staff and leadership in development and execution of Board meetings and initiatives.
• Ad Hoc Challenges: Address and resolve emergent organizational challenges by applying dependable project management and proactive communication.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration or a related field. Equivalent experience in project management or a similar role will be considered.
• 2-4 years of experience in project management, management consulting, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Proven program management experience, ideally within healthcare or a regulated industry.
• Know and comply with Agency policies and procedures, HIPAA, DMH, SAPC and DHS policies and documentation guidelines, and other state, federal regulations relating to adult service programs for individuals with a history of mental illness or substance use.
• Demonstrate very effective oral and written communications skills.
• Efficiently use the personal computer to include: word processing, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentation software, database, and project management.
• Demonstrate skill in organizing, tracking and prioritizing multiple complex tasks and projects.
• Have project management skills and experience, including working with teams to identify needs and develop processes to address those needs.
