Fisher-Rosemount Systems, Inc. is seeking a Hybrid Scrum Master/MES Principal Software Engineer for its offices in Round Rock, Texas.

Job Description:
Design and develop secure, easy to use, high-performance, quality solutions and user interfaces for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) using Microsoft development tools (e.g., Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server for code version control) and technologies, such as C#, ASP.NET, MVC Framework, HTML, JavaScript, and .NET Framework. Develop business logic to implement customer specific requirements in Manufacturing Modules in Pharma Industries by using object-oriented programming for the back-end solutions. Provide accurate estimates and effectively communicate status. Facilitate regular Scrum events, such as Sprint Planning, Daily-Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Influence scrum teams towards an effective agile implementation while maintaining their sense of ownership and empowerment. Effectively guide discussions and engage in conflict resolution when necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues using knowledge of ISA-95 Control System Integration with DeltaV™ DCS and ERP systems in addition to network debugging tools, such as Fiddler and knowledge of Soap Webservices and REST web API’s, including SOAPUI. Review and provide detailed feedback on peer design and object-oriented source code in addition to SQL Server scripts, T-SQL, and stored procedures. Work collaboratively with other Scrum Masters and release train leadership to coordinate and support the activities of all of the Scrum teams. Support release train leadership in preparing for each Program Increment. Work as a MES Subject Matter Expert in Syncade Manufacturing modules (such as Weigh and Dispense, including Industrial Weight Scales used within Automation Processes in Oil & Gas and Life Sciences Industries), including but not limited to administration, configuration, support, and implementation, supporting multiple teams, including Test, Marketing, Product Engineering, Technical Support, and Documentation. Guide, direct, and lead the development team in the effective implementation and execution of agile methodologies to develop MES software. Lead the team in organizing work, documenting work assignments, and ensuring that the team’s work is staffed effectively and efficiently. Work collaboratively with developers, Products Owners, release train leaders, and management to effectively identify and remove impediments to the development team’s progress. Work with management to escalate problems encountered on or amongst scrum teams as necessary. Foster agile best practices and a culture of relentless improvement amongst assigned scrum teams and the development organization as a whole. Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across the organization. Serve as both an example and a champion for the values and principles of both SAFe and the Agile Manifesto. Part-time telecommuting permitted.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science plus 4 years of experience in a software development occupation are required.

The required experience must include the following: 
•   4 years of experience developing back-end solutions using object-oriented programming languages; 
•   4 years of experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL and stored procedures; 
•   4 years of experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems, including but not limited to administration, configuration, support, and implementation; 
•   4 years of experience configuring, debugging, and implementing Industrial Weight Scales used within Automation Processes in Oil & Gas and Life Sciences Industries; 
•   2 years of experience using C#, ASP.NET, MVC Framework, HTML, JavaScript, and .NET Framework; 
•   2 years of experience with ISA-95 Control Systems Integration (ERP, MES, DCS); 
•   2 years of experience with Emerson’s DeltaV™ Distributed Control System; 
•   2 years of experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems development; 
•   2 years of experience with Soap Webservices and REST web API’s including SOAPUI and Fiddler Software for debugging; 
•   2 years of experience with user interface development; 
•   2 years of experience with Microsoft development tools; 
•   2 years of experience with Team Foundation Server as Source Code Version Control; and, 
•   3 years of experience working in an agile software development organization.
