About the role

Business Unit Finance
Retirement Solutions finance is seeking a driven self-starter who enjoys problem solving and leading in a fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for the Financial Planning & Analysis for the Retirement Solutions business focused on flows, assets and revenue as well as some exposure to expenses.

This role requires close collaboration with finance leadership and coordination across the business. A successful candidate will have a quantitative skillset, ability to solve complex challenges, and maturity to navigate senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performs annual plan and re-forecasting activities for flows, assets and revenue including updating/evolving forecast models for accuracy and completeness and working with business and finance leaders.

  • Analyzes financial results to identify drivers and explain key variances.

  • Produces financial reports including concise commentary with key insights that help to inform business and financial decisions.

  • Designs ad hoc reports as needed.

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of financial planning and analysis or corporate finance experience with preference for AUM reporting experience and experience in Insurance
  • 5+ years in financial services finance or accounting

Preferred:

  • 7+ years of financial planning and analysis or corporate finance experience with preference for AUM reporting experience and experience in Insurance
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Knowledge of Oracle Systems: Hyperion Essbase/SmartView and EBPCS
  • Knowledge of Tableau and Snowflake
  • Strength in problem solving across disciplines, leading complex projects, and building rapport with stakeholders
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Natural curiosity and systematic approach to streamlining processes and reporting
  • Ability to wear multiple hats, acting as a financial reporting and analysis guru, internal consultant, and business strategist
  • Hyperion experience
  • Knowledge and exposure of Oracle Systems

Base Pay Range: $95,100/yr - $139,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
